1. Study the rule.

 

 

 

 

 

 1. as … as – not as/so/such/ …as

He's as stubborn as a horse.

It's not such hard work as I thought.

 

5.  the same … + as +  (pro)noun + clause

     She has the same blouse as the one I was wearing last night.

 

 2. the + comparative … the + comparative

The older he gets, the more forgetful he becomes.

 

 

6.  less + positive degree + than

     Pam is less helpful than John.

 3. comparative + and + comparative

The lecture was becoming more and more boring.

 

7.  the least + positive degree + of/in

     She was the least interested of all.

 

 4. such + …as + noun/pronoun/clause

I've never seen such a nice baby as theirs.

 

8.  (very) much, far, a little, a bit, a lot/lots, any + comparative degree + (than) …

      He's much/far older than her.
